Pongo is an extremely loving, happy old girl who somehow managed to live the life of an abused dog (was witnessed being hit in the head) and still not have a grudge against humankind. In fact, there's nothing she really likes better than people! She is not very active (she is 13 years old) and has some arthritis, but loves going for walks - even 20-30 minutes at a time, 2-3 times a day! She is losing weight, which is helping her activity and mobility too! She gets along fine with dogs and cats. She is reported to be good with children, but due to her age and stiffness, she should have a home where kids won't be falling on her. She has a few health issues, but nothing that has gotten in the way of her indomitable spirit. She has wonderful house manners (OK, her foster home did catch her once jumping up to look for cat food) and is such an easy companion. This love is looking for a family to return her affection and prove her right that people are the basis for all good things. Can you do that for her?
