Greyhounds make
wonderful pets.
They are
affectionate,
gentle, well
mannered, and
adapt
exceptionally
well to the home
environment.
Greyhounds come
in all shapes
and sizes, male
and female, in a
variety of
colors.
These retired
racers deserve a
chance to enjoy
life with a
companion or
family. All dogs
are
spade/neutered,
up to date with
vaccinations,
and have had
dental cleaning
prior to being
adopted.
Greyhound Rescue
of Vermont works
with Fast
Friends of NH to
place greyhounds
retired from
racing who have
nowhere to go.
Fast Friends of
New Hampshire
must place 40
dogs as soon as
possible, before
relocating to a
new facility.
Greyhound Rescue
of Vermont works
closely with
Fast Friends to
find "forever
homes" for these
retired racers.
A number of
these dogs have
been placed here
in Vermont,
Canada, and New
York. Greyhound
Rescue of
Vermont and Fast
Friends of NH
are 501(c)(3)
non profit
organizations. .
