Here we will attempt to answer those questions that are most often asked.

Q - Where do you acquire your animals?
A - We rescue them ourselves, acquire them through owner release, or have abandoned and found animals brought to us.

Q - What are your procedures for accepting owner release?
A - Generally, Petsavers asks for a $15 donation for the placement of an owner-released animal. Owners are asked to foster their own animals, if possible, until adoption can be arranged.

Q - Petsavers claims to be a non-euthanizing organization. What exactly does that mean? A - Petsavers does not euthanize animals for any reason except the following:

• An animal is unprovokedly vicious, or bites without cause.
• An animal has a medical condition too costly for Petsavers to care for
• It is in the best interest for the comfort of the animal

Petsavers does not euthanize animals solely because of age, size, adoptability, or for convenience.
