	Daisy - 4 year old female Staffordshire Terrier mix. Daisy is losing her home due to a divorce. She is great with kids very playful. She is not good with cats or the mailman. She loves to run, play and cuddle and is a real sweetheart. She's spayed, up-to-date on her shots and has been obedience trained. 	Shortbread - 1.5 year old male Lab/Beagle mix. Shortbread was adopted last October her owners are no longer able to care for her as their other dog needs surgery and months of rehabilitation. Shortbread is active and having her around her. Shortbread is a sweet dog who is great with other dogs. She is housebroken has has up to date shots. 	Andy - 2 year old male Lab/Pointer mix. Andy has a beautiful brown/black coat. He was rescued for the city shelter. He has up-to-date shots, is neutered and microchipped. Andy's best qualities are his wonderful personality and his willingness to please. Andy enjoys playing with other dogs of any size; while playing with another dog, a Chihuahua wandered into the yard and they all had a great time. Trainers say he catches on quickly to new tricks. 	Sophie - 10 month old female Pitbull puppy. Sophie is pup with a bundle of energy. Her beautiful beige patches match her hazel eyes. Very affectionate and loving. Needs a home with a yard so she can get the exercise she needs. Gets along with other dogs and older children. Might need some obedience and leash training. 	Parrot - 8 month old male lab mix. Parrot was discovered living under an 89 year old man’s house in South Los Angeles. He is a very sweet, gentle lab mix. He is very healthy and has been vaccinated plus neutered. Parrot is living in a cage at the vet office, homeless, shy and not wagging his tail. He truly needs someone that could just give him their secure yard, feed him and wait for his tail to wag. He is a perfect dog for someone with a busy schedule or not. He is so sweet, he was even afraid of the cats living under the house and he loves other dogs. 	Peanut - 2 year old female Corgi/Chihuahua mix. Peanut is just the sweetest little dog. She really needs a forever home. She is house trained, cat friendly( I have 2), loves dogs(I have 2), kids(I have one of those as well), women and sometimes takes awhile to warm up to men. (A treat and some patience does the trick!). She is an all around sweet and darling girl and would make a great friend to a loving person or family. She is a wonderful dog who's life was saved at the last moment(she was in the euth room), and now Peanut deserves a forever home. Peanut makes you laugh and warms your heart, and will keep your bed warm too..if you let her. 	Duke - 8 year old male German Shepherd/Chow mix. He is a big guy- he weighs about 100 lbs. He is very obedient and is trained on the basic commands. He is a very loving and devoted dog. He loves to play catch and long walks. He needs a LARGE yard. He no medical problems. He is neutered and all his shots are current. He is an indoor and outdoor dog. 100% potty trained. 	Elmo - 6 year old male Cocker mix. Elmo is a dog trainers dream. He is healthy and loves to do tricks. His favorite is sitting up on 2 feet. He is either surfing or conducting the orchestra, I’m not sure which. He weighs about 35 lbs. Although his cute look can be deceiving. He is usually happy go lucky but also a great guard dog. He doesn’t like strangers running up to him and he doesn’t like being cuddled for too long. He breaks into a snarling fit. For the 20 times he has done this in his life, he has broken the skin twice but no stitches were required. He needs an experienced dog person with no children.
