Ginger's Story

Meet Ginger, a year old chocolate lab mix. Ginger was taken in by Noah's Bark on April 10, 1999. She is one of the most emaciated dogs that we have ever seen. You can see most of her bones, she weighs 52 pounds but should be 80 pounds. Some kids found Ginger in trapped fenced in city lot. They had contacted several rescue groups who were unable to help before contacting Noah's Bark. Ginger had literally been starving. We have no idea how long Ginger had been trapped or how long she had been out on her own. Ginger currently is at the vet's being evaluated... it will probably be a long recovery for this gal, we will keep you posted.
