WILBUR

Wilbur was sitting at animal control, matted and full of flees, his hair has grown over so badly, you could not see his eyes. But under all that fur he had the sad lonely eyes that pleaded for help. Since he was a small dog, Sherri called all the people on her list of people looking for small dogs. But when they inquired about him at animal control, animal control had him listed as a 30 pound cockapoo. When indeed he was a 13 pound Bichon Frise.

When it was Wilbur last day at the animal control, Sherri decided to to give this little guy a second chance on life. She picked him up, and he received the vet care that he needed.

With a little grooming it was easy to see the little bichon for what he was, he had many interested people that want to make him a part of their family. He was adopted to a family in Ann Arbor. They tried very hard with Wilbur, but he growled at their two children and was returned to foster care.

He was worked with on obedience and training, at the foster home for many months. It was decided he should be placed with a single women.

. And he was the answer to Georgia prayers, now the two are bonding and living in Sterling Heights. Georgia is very thankful, for Wilbur, he has filled her life with love and lonely days are long passed.
