Aries

Aries' story is the same as alot of dogs. Taken to a high kill shelter at the tender age of 2. Previous owners said that they moved to a new area, which they had well water instead of city water, which Aries had a little problem adjusting to. So instead of working with their vet, they drop this beautiful dog off at the local animal control.

It was by chance, that Sherri was contact a different breed rescue, for a stray she had found, and in the conversation she mentioned shepherds being her favorite breed. This rescue had knowledge of Aries, at her local Animal Control. Aries was due to be put to sleep the next day. The distance away was quite far. And because of help from a transport group, two dogs were rescued.

Transporting and home checking are two great ways to help rescue, even if you can not foster in your own home. To join a transporting or home checking group Click to subscribe to rollingrescue or Click to subscribe to HomeVisitNet .

Well, I believe Aries dreams have came true, the moment he met his new forever family. He has a boy of his very own named Zach, and they are working on becoming best friends. Zach family researched the German Shepherd breed and were very familiar with Aries needs. They know that the ownership of any pet, requires time and knowledge. We have know doubt that they will have many years of happiness.
