Spike
was rescued by Animal Control, from an abusive
owner. This wonderful guy had a collar embedded
in his neck that was surgically removed. Animal
Control officers were so touched by this guy personality,
they called and ask Sherri if she would foster
to and try to find a forever home for him.
Spike
was very loving and playful, he played well with
his foster sisters and brother Goliath and Mystic.
Mystic a small German shepherd puppy, was almost
mistaken as a earring or tail ring since she was
all ways attached to spike.
It
was time for Spike to have his very own family
to love, Sally and her family were excited to
meet Spike. Spike had won the hearts of SVRC Inc.
where he met his new family.
Spike
earned his new name, Bandit, when he snuck a piece
of pizza from a table. He learned about love,
snuggled in bed with Jennifer. He felt the warmth
of a home, playing with toys of his very own.
He had what is every dog's dream, a family of
his very own to love, play with and care for him.
Never to go without attention, food, or water
again.
He still had to work his charm on the feline members
of the family Seale, Gimpy and Pounce, we are
sure if given time they would of been great friends.
But
an accident, cut Bandit life short, when he got
out accidentally and was killed by a passing car.
But we can take comfort of knowing, that in the
last few weeks of his life, he felt love, comfort
and a true family.
He
will be greatly missed by his forever family Steve,
Sally, Jennifer, and Travis and also his foster
family.
He
was is our life for such a short time, But left
his paw prints in our hearts forever!!! And until
we are reunited again, he will be remembered.
