Most of the dogs at county and local shelters are there through no fault of their own. All most of them need is a 'loving', 'understanding', and 'responsible' new home. That's where 'you' (hopefully) come into the picture. We strongly encourage you to give these 'discards' a 'New Leash on Life' by adopting from a local or county shelter, a humane society, or an organization like ours. K-9 Stray Rescue makes sure that all of its’ dogs are spayed or neutered and actively encourages everyone to spay/neuter their pets. We don’t want anyone to add to the over-population problem that currently puts so many innocent animals on ‘death row’ (at least 13 million in the USA every year). We bring our rescued dogs up-to-date on all medical needs and spay/neuter them prior to adoption. |
