The Humane Society of Saline County now hosts an in-house low-cost spay/neuter clinic with Dr. Tina Fletcher performing the surgeries. We are VERY excited about being able to help provide this much needed service to the community. Spaces in each clinic are limited, but we've made an online reservation request form available. Complete the form and a volunteer will get back with you about upcoming dates, availability, and answer any questions you may have.

We are trying to work through a backlog right now, so if you have already submitted your request to be in a clinic, call the shelter at 501-557-5518 to inquire about your placement on the wait list.

Clinics are typically held on a weekday. Animals being dropped off for surgery should arrive between 7:30 a.m. and 8:00 a.m. and be picked up that afternoon between 5:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m.. You must provide proof of current rabies vaccination, or we will vaccinate your pet at an additional cost. Make sure your animals do NOT have anything to eat or drink after midnight the night before surgery. For those of you with multiple pets, we limit the number of pets you can bring per clinic to three, but there is no limit to how many clinics you can sign up to attend. And if your pet needs his annual vaccination, intestinal wormer or to be treated for fleas and ticks, we can take care of that too (for an additional fee).
