Abuse/Neglect Cases

We are working on several abuse and neglect cases. The most recent is this one. Almost thirty dogs and puppies were discovered off Highway 70, severely malnurished and apparently abandoned. The property owner is being tracked down. In the meantime, we've given food, water and medical care to these poor creatures, and we intend to file charges against those responsible. Some pictures are posted below. These dogs aren't available for adoption yet pending legal action, but feel free to come out and have a look and put your name on a list, and if and when they become available we'll contact you.

Want to help?  We really need puppy formula and trash bags, bleach, liquid dishwashing soap, paper towels, cedar chips, blankets, and monetary donations! We paid a vet to come out to our shelter to do health checks and run tests on these animals, which was pretty expensive, and all of the dogs needed one type of treatment or another (most needed several!). So, money to help us pay for the dogs' care would be very much appreciated.

You can drop off supplies at the shelter any day between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m., and you can donate now online! Thanks for your help!!
