PASSING THE LEASH The time comes when a trainer must pass the leash of the dog that they have trained to the recipient. It is a time of mixed emotion. Joy, sadness, and even apprehension all come together at that moment when the trainer hands the leash to the person who will benefit from the trainer's efforts.
