North Carolina Shelters (all of these sites list many animals up for adoption)
Charlotte Mecklenburg Animal Control usually has about 300 animals up for adoption all the time. They almost always have one or more dobermans. I probably will not be able to monitor the site often enough to list all of the dobermans that they have, so visit it often. The website includes pictures of selected animals available for adoption.
Project HALO - private non-profit rescue group serving Mecklenburg, York SC, Union Co. and the surrounding areas. This group has several doberman mixes available. All of the animals are in foster care. Neutered or spayed, up to date on shots. Home visit and references required. (Your web person for this website is fostering three dogs for them right now, but none of these are dobermans).
