BORDER COLLIE RESCUE OF NORTHERN CALIFORNIA       

We are a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that is dedicated to the welfare of the Border Collie. We are active in rescue from shelters and we assist owners who wish to place their dogs.  We depend on donations, adoption fees and profits from the sale of merchandise to take care of the dogs in foster care.  Medical bills run very high and donations are always welcome.  If you would care to make a donation, or need more information, please contact Border Collie Rescue of Northern California or click on Donations.

SKYE is a sweet & gentle 3-year-old beauty came into rescue with both tick fever (erlichiosis) & 
heartworm disease.  Thanks to the help from all of our wonderful supporters, we have treated Skye for the erlichiosis and she will begin her heartworm treatment 4/16/09.  Heartworm treatment is very expensive and Skye will be the 7th dog we've treated this year for the disease!!!  We also rescued another female after Skye arrived, who is going through heartworm treatment right now.

Foster Homes Needed

Are you interested in becoming a qualified foster home? Take the opportunity to give one of our beloved Border Collies a chance for a better life as we continue to take in unwanted, abandoned, and abused Border Collies. You can help by giving them nurturing temporary homes until we find that perfect, loving, "forever" home that each one deserves. We need qualified people to foster these wonderful Border Collies.
